BGTC is hiring! 

The Social Media Coordinator will develop and execute our social media strategy to enhance our brand and engage with our community. This role requires a strategic thinker with a creative flair, excellent communication skills, and a passion for social media and tennis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Capture:

    • Capture high-quality photos and videos at events and programs to share on our social media platforms.

    • Collaborate with members to create engaging TikTok content highlighting our community and events.

    • Manage production teams onsite, capturing content 

  • Content Management:

    • Repost quality content we are tagged in on our social media channels.

    • Develop and maintain a social media monthly calendar to ensure timely and consistent content posting.

    • Create and schedule posts for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

    • Setup TikTok shop

  • Community Engagement:

    • Actively engage with our audience by liking posts, commenting, and responding to messages.

    • Monitor social media channels for mentions and opportunities to engage with our community.

    • Respond to DMs and involve appropriate parties 

  • Platform Development:

    • Develop and manage our TikTok account, creating strategies to grow our following and increase engagement.

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and platform updates to ensure our strategy remains relevant and effective.

  • Analytics & Reporting:

    • Track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns and posts.

    • Provide regular reports on social media metrics, insights, and areas for improvement.

  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure a cohesive and unified brand message.

    • Assist in the planning and promotion of events through social media channels.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role.

  • Excellent knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other social media best practices.

  • Strong photography and video skills, with the ability to create compelling visual content.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Passion for tennis and a deep understanding of the Black community and culture.

  • Creative mindset with a strong eye for design and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is a plus.
